- A Little History About Word Of Victory
1990 – By God’s grace, John Lutaaya is radically born again with a ministry calling on his life, begins to be discipled by a local pastor- 1994 – Trial comes as John’s wife Florence passes away in childbirth, leaving John with four children
- 1998 – John is ordained and sent out from his home church to pastor Namutumba Victory Church in an impoverished and rural area
- 2002 – John marries Sylivia, they go on to have two children and adopt three orphans
- 2007 – Word of Victory Christian Ministries founded as the vision expands beyond church ministry
- 2012 – Word of Victory begins Piety Junior Academy to meet the educational needs of impoverished and orphan children
- 2019 – Word of Victory has established 7 thriving churches, and Piety Junior Academy has 262 children enrolled
