Sometimes it’s almost scary to consider the scope of what God wants us to do as his people. Imagine the impact on eternity that each of us can have, imagine the damage we can do to the kingdom of darkness when we come together!
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden…
it gives light to all in the house.
[Therefore] let your light shine before others,
so that they may see your good works
and give glory to your Father who is in heaven (Matthew 5:13-16).
The light you shine by supporting Word of Victory Christian Ministries, is reflected on the faces of the families here in Namutumba and neighboring areas. They know it is our friends like you who are doing these good works. They are giving glory to our Father in heaven because they know only God could do this great work in their lives.
Current Opportunities:
- Prayers and Encouragement!
- Short and long-term mission teams and individuals to help with evangelism, construction, medical clinics, etc.
- Monthly support for basic needs and needed income to our pastors and teachers, who serve in poor rural areas
- One-time gifts to go towards land and construction projects, such as more school and training facilities, playgrounds, etc… and an eventual Ministry Center!
- Specific and time-sensitive needs:
–Regular funding for the schools that are growing rapidly – sometimes we are unable to pay the teachers or have to turn children away
–Capital investment for equipment to expand our farming and manufacturing capabilities in order to become self-sustaining
–Sound equipment for use in our churches and to be able to reach more people with open air meetings
